I see many questions everywhere asking the detail on strike date and price of company issued options.
The ASX has no data, COMMSEC only gives date and no price, Trading Room is the best but the price is rounded to only two decimal places and this is confusing.
WHY in this time of powerful computers is such information not readily available without labourously trawling through company announcements or asking the probably annoying question of other listers??
I have just spoken to the ASX (which I have been meaning to do for years) about this and was given the answer that "yes that's a very good idea and we should look into it"
I am hoping they will!
I think that HotCopper should start to put pressure somewhere where it works to make this information readily available.
