Couple of good posts, TDA. Got me thinking about what kind of deal, partnership or development is a company maker?

Arguably, the 5 year Exclusive Licence Agreement was a company maker because it formalised the already 5 year-old partnership between Unilife and SanofiAventis and came with significant funding at a difficult time in the markets, and at a crucial stage in Unilife's evolution from developer to producer.

The Industrialisation Agreement also qualifies as (another) company making deal. Whether or not it comes with more funding, (and there seems to be more than a suggestion that this is likely), it will lock in actual RTF Production Volumes based on Sanofi's forward sales requirements. Thus real revenue-earning production and sales are no longer pie in the sky. They are actuality.

The trifecta in the company maker stakes has to be the Sales Agreement later this year(?) which will settle once and for all the questions about price and profit.

Then, there's the NASDAQ(?) listing. This year or next, doesn't matter. It's a company maker.

The European plant with associated tax incentives probably comes into the mix somewhere, as does buying Integrated BioSciences, not to mention ISO, FDA and all the other regulatory hurdles that have been met and successfully passed.

Seems to me there have been an awful lot of company making events for Unilife the past 18 months or so. Individually and together, they present a compelling argument as to why Unilife will succeed where others have failed.
