What makes you think that? Acquisitions only happen if the acquiring company thinks they can pay less than they can earn from the IP.
They are generally priced at a premium of 50-100% of the prevailing share price. So if BP came knocking tomorrow they’d look to pay 30-40c per share.
I’d be be much happier to see us go down the same route as NEU and DXB.
Shareholders at least then have the choice of selling for a capital gain or holding for dividend income.
