The cognitive response in the HD trial was dose dependent at 250mg daily and there was a trend toward improvement in other parameters but not statistically significant hihger doses should clarify these results and have more MRIs etc
Hopefully the next trial will use 500mg or more depending on toxicity, although the only side effect was diarrhoea and this may be resolved by changing the formulation
slow release enteric coating etc
But Imagine if we did a trial and 83% of the patients wanted to keep taking it, would you think that was a good result
