It seems to me that the path to a success is similar in biotech to the path in mineral exploration.
Probability increases along the journey but the failure is possible in any point untill the win.
There are more losers than winners so like in horse rases you need few various horses to put your bets on.
We are on the higher probability now and lets hope this will finally hit the target.
