I'm not so sure that it's the market misunderstanding accounting principle and it's all due to non cash items issue. CAA's operating cashflow was actually negative and their cash position went down by $9.2m over the half.
At a time when all the stars have essentially aligned (i.e. housing market, low AUD etc), the turn around is obviously not happening.
