I have a copy of the court transcript and it seems the reason why the Namibian Mines Dept did not renew the lease was because they new of the dispute, and this was some time ago. MLS was told by the Namibian Mines Dept to sort it out before the permits would be renewed. In conversations with the company by several posters they were told the delays was due to administrative back log in the Namibian Mines Dept.
Certainly the company needs to be questioned about this in more detail, I think more information about the reasons for the permit delay should have been disclosed. Whether that is a contravention of the Securities code, I do not know.
