Actually I was being dismissive, not laughing.
But same, same. Maybe that's why this company is in shambles, because same, same.
Anyway I'd love to be a director of MMR, and I would definitely add value. My goal would be purely to drive SH value up 2nd to none. Right after a CR to give MMR some working capital, I would set out a plan to thin the herd and lower running costs, develop a short term and long term plan with measurable deliverables that would then translate into work activities to drive the organisation back into a productive mentality.
I would gladly do the job with a $1 director's fee per anum for the first 2 years.
That's a director for $2 - worth $2.50 - so you're getting $0.50 value for money
This wouldn't be my first directorship either, as I am the director for my private company - in a totally different industry so not a conflict of interest.
