Six (6) years and the board puts it down to "we were giving him the benefit of the doubt" seems like a cop-out. I'd like to see how one organisation cannot function on the basis of one individual, and how important and personal information is held entirely with the ex-director. There is just as much blame here on the board of directors, as there is on the ex-director.
In addition, aside from potentially illegal behavior by DB, I fail to see what the current board plans to do. Telling us they are committed to the cause isn't good enough, why the wake-up call now? After 6 years, and continued SP downtrend?
Given where the company is now, this feels more like another start-up with baggage. Why would anyone invest in this, when there's a lot of other investment opportunities that haven't been tainted by bad blood.
