I like to add that WFI educational literature is of an extremely high calibre as observed from the Wangle Family Insites website advise, e-books and online social media content.

I'm sure there are a number of departments taking notice of WGL's commitment thanks to Sean, Robyn and team.

WANGLE ATTENDS CYBER SAFETY TRAINING WITH AUSTRALIAN FEDERAL POLICE

Wangle Technologies Limited (Wangle or the Company) (ASX:WGL) is pleased to announce that Sean Smith (CEO) and Robyn Treyvaud (Head of Education, Wangle Family Insites) were invited to attend the internal ThinkUKnow cyber safety training program with the Australian Federal Police (AFP) on Tuesday March 27th.

The ThinkUKnow program aims to deliver accessible cyber safety education through a unique partnership between law enforcement and industry, with information designed to encourage parents and carers to communicate openly with young people about their online habits. Law enforcement representatives presented case studies on a range of topics including cyberbullying and online grooming, and discussed the preventative measures required to reduce the number of incidents affecting young Australians.

In addition, the Office of eSafety presented resources and tools on offer for victims of cyberbullying and Image Based Abuse, detailed their close work with social media platforms to help action reported cases of cyberbullying, and presented the education content they provide for all Australians on cyber safety issues. The programs reinforce the education-driven approach of the Company’s parental control platform Wangle Family Insites (WFI) which combines cutting edge technology with educational resources designed to strengthen relationships between parents and children, and to help families safely navigate the internet.

Wangle CEO Mr Sean Smith said: “The numbers of real cases of cyberbullying and online grooming being reported to and investigated by both law enforcement agencies and the Office of eSafety was sobering and highlighted the importance of preventive tools and education within the community.
