    MEDIC VISION LTD COMPANY UPDATE

    The Board of Medic Vision Ltd (Medic Vision) is pleased with the overall progress of Medic Vision to date this financial year. A number of key activities have been successfully carried out and there are significant new business development and opportunities currently being worked on.

    China – Medic Vision constantly working on new projects with China. This financial year has seen Medic Vision been awarded projects and supplied equipment to Southern Medical University, Beijing No 3 Peoples Hospital and Huaxi Medical University to name some of the projects.

    New projects are being negotiated including the rollout of skills centres and simulators across China in collaboration with The Chinese Medical Doctors Association, one of the most prestigious medical organisations in China.

    United Kingdom - Medic Vision has successfully completed phase one of the skills centre project with The Royal College of Surgeons of England and is now working on phase two. Phase two consists of simulation training areas, minimally invasive surgical training lab and general training areas. Medic Vision has received considerable accolade for its work done on Phase one. Phase one of the project was opened on the 17th October 2007 and information can been seen on the College website www.rcseng.ac.uk

    Medic Vision is continuing its work on the skills training centre in Torbay, where construction has just commenced. Medic Vision has also established its own skills training centre at the Royal Free Hospital in London and will shortly commence running its own skills training courses for industry and the medical community with Simulation as the core component. Considerable effort is being made to convert the extensive pipeline of quotes to orders and it is envisaged that this year will see a significant number of those conversions.

    Australia/New Zealand – current projects include Royal North Shore Hospital skills centre NSW, Macquarie University skills centre NSW, St George Hospital NSW, Mater Hospital QLD, and Peter MacCallum Hospital VIC. Medic Vision has successfully showcased its temporal bone drilling simulator at the 6TH Asia Pacific Symposium On Cochlear Implants And Related Sciences in Sydney and have been very pleased with the response from the surgeons especially from Japan, Korea and Germany. The company is actively quoting on more projects for the development of training centers and the sale of simulators and focused on converting the extensive quotes the company currently has in the marketplace.

    Medic Vision is broadening its exposure into India with the Managing Director Ross Horley presenting as an invited speaker at the 3rd Annual Conference of the Telemedicine Society and the 12th ISfTeH (International Society for Telemedicine and E Health) in Chennai this week. Ross Horley is also meeting with key leaders in the health system in India for the management and deployment of simulator based skills training.

    Another area of expansion includes Russia, where further meetings are planned with Health officials in the development of skills training centres and deployment of simulators.
