The Role
Vonex is looking for an experienced Software Engineer to help implement its exciting new App development project which will focus on inter-operability and enhanced security of our internal platforms. You will work with a world class team of innovators and your primary role will be to research current communication platforms using your outstanding skills to speak and connect with existing applications. You will help guide Vonex into engineering solutions that allow our applications to connect to other popular networks.
Your Technical Experience
You'll need to be a highly creative problem solver and have the ability to think outside the box. You will have experience with a full range of systems and tools so you can get started right away. Do you have experience with:
Operating System's internals? (Windows or OSX or Linux?)
Compiled Languages? (like C or C++)
Networking Protocols? (like TCP/IP or UDP or DNS or HTTP)
VoIP Protocols? (like SIP or IAX or Jingle/XMPP or H.323)
Network traffic analysis? (Wireshark or netsniff-ng or Ospy/Scapy)
Debugging tools? (like IDA Pro, OllyDbg, RasterRing 0 Debugger)
Scripted Programming Languages? (like Perl or Python)
Software packages designed to record system process calls (like strace or OSpy or StraceNT or ProcessMonitor)
