"Do you know of any progress or expected updates on the CAR-NK CDH17 program by Chimeric?"

My understanding was that Case Western, the developers of the CORE NK platform were progressing the pre clinical pipeline for a very modest fee in the US as of late 2023.

I believe the company was looking to onshore some of the pre clinical work relating to the CORE NK platform at Peter Mac institute in Melbourne given there are some NK experts there, the company can also claim a 43.5% R&D tax rebate and there is potential grant funding available.

Methinks the CORE NK pre clinical program inc CAR-NK CDH17 slowed down due to the company budget constraints.....methinks it makes to resume in earnest if CART CDH17 is demonstrating early efficacy, because it would be very appealing to any partners during a takeover or licensing discussion. Importantly, we should be able to leverage our CAR design in CART in the CORE NK therapy.

"Also I was looking on Arbele Bio site, and they state they own the patent to target CDH17 gastrointestinal cancers - do you know if this impacts Chimeric's addressable market??"

No impact. CHM has patents in place for CDH17 CART. The addressable market is only really impacted by the number of GI patients that are CDH17 positive (which is over 50% of GI cancers according to some studies). The further down the GI tract you go, the more CDH17 is overexpressed in cancer patients.
