Agreed. just because youre in the same "triangle" does not mean success for everyone--varying degrees of success will naturally occur. Steve Promnitz however is a very understated and smart guy. I believe he and his team have done the best job of acquiring areas that show promise. Time will tell.
If you have been following lithium the past 18 months you have made excellent returns. The risk reward here in Lake is so skewed to the upside its not funny. I am prepared to (risk) limited downside here to potentially enjoy explosive results and returns. As Good Oil Guy alluded to last week we have a very tight register which makes the potential share price appreciation even greater, and no requirement at present to raise any cash. Argosy for instance has 1.1 billion shares on issue---we have approx 270 million FULLY DILUTED!!
On another note LITHIUM ONE in canada was up another 30% last night to $1.25-----was there any further news--NO of course not. Just people late to the party that believe it can be the next junior over there with potential drilling success.
As was said at the Benchmark Minerals conference in Sydney last month, there is room for everyone in the lithium space at least for the next few years, so every junior with a sniff will gain varying degrees of share price appreciation. If you read the Fin Review yesterday Tianqi (Greenbushes 50% owner) alluded to the fact in a few years the fringe players may not be able to compete with the larger players. This may be the case but this is also a fair way down the track and alot of consolidation will occur before this becomes a concern. This is potentially what could happen with us at our Jujuy tenements next to Orocobre once we get permits and drill in the same aquifer as they have! (WE ARE NOT A ONE TRICK PONY and as Blue Goose keeps saying this is a medium to longer term play if you want the massive returns---by all means trade but it could be a costly mistake just to make a few pennies).
I have been interested in and worked in investment markets for 25 years and besides the tech boom which ended in tears for most (EXCEPT AMAZON), I have never seen an opportunity like the lithium space. This is a generational structural shift in how the world powers its most utilised transport---- and until the next best thing comes along its the best idea we have at the moment.
Also check out NRG Metals as another comparison to Lake---another Canadian junior drilling at present--- Up from about 16c to 30c Canadian. Market cap only $23 million so another one to keep your eye on to see if they achieve drilling success and share price moves.
Have a great weekend all!
