Interesting post. I agree the spin applied by GOR is becoming obvious, certainly in the way they time their announcements, and the story to take in mum & dad investors. I note Diggers & Drillers has downgraded their recommendation to a "Hold" from "Buy". The on-site Michelin chef paid by shareholders is pretty irksome, as is management response and treatment of shareholder e-mails, as noted in other GOR threads.
But IMHO GOR still has positives to discuss (unlike some other miners). It is crystal clear to me they are working hard and drilling significantly. Even with all this activity, they have only drilled a small percentage of their huge tenement holdings.
In a nutshell:
~ It will take a long time for the entire GOR exploration story to unfold.... perhaps longer than many SH would want;
~ GOR Management got ahead of themselves in their marketing of their potential, they sold & promoted a story of a "New Gold Region" that may or may not eventuate.
