I find it interesting that another WA company is operating in the same market as OEC. ACE also has developments going on in China to develop a concept engine for use in China and export to Asia. It also has dealings in India, mind you thats not surprisimg as there goes half the world population more than 2.5 Billion people plus in India and China.

The focus seems to be slightly different in that they are concentrating on developing engines for specifc fuels CNG and LNG ( It think), whereas OEC are whilst developing similar, also are investigating engines that are capable of using multiple fuels. Currently ACE do have customers in France and Australian Bus companies that use CNG and LNG.

I wonder which strategy will come out the best? Its a bit like a 'bird in the hand is worth two in ...." At least in this particular market segment ACE have established some volume sales and repeat business through contracts to re supply parts as ongoing maintainence.

I know OEC have income as well and they say it is going to increase in 2010-2011 financial year. Is OEC trying to find a pie in the sky?? by seeking the 'mother of all solutions' ie one size (read engine design ) fits all?? I guess this little drama will continue to enthrall!
