Yes philh9, it is funny to see the same doc-template used for both AVB and AVY announcements.

Because of their common directors etc I have always kept a close eye on AVY. I am a very big fan of Tony Polglase, and the other directors. Not a shareholder of AVY though.

Naturally one always asks things like what synergies are possible between the two. AVY looks for tin, and AVB is pure copper. I think(!) TP comes from Cornwall (tin and copper mines).

If AVB finds tin, it can shuffle it off to AVY, and if AVY finds copper, perhaps AVB get it? They are quite some distance apart though.

One small advantage if it can be called that is TP and others spend essential time (as required basis) on both businesses. Thus they can charge up their time splitting it between both, which is a nice wages saving for AVB.

Otherwise AVB cops a much heavier payroll hit.

Guys like Tony do not come cheap and rightly so.
