The good thing about Reginald is he seems to have at least made some decent decisions for Beach - investing in coal seam gas early, investing in onshore shale gas technology in the Cooper basin and not selling assets or raising truckloads of capital at the bottom of the market. Exploring in Tanzania is a bit weird though.
For a $1 Billion cap company, a CEO getting paid $6m year is a ripoff.
Could be worse, check out SRL ( highly paid directors underperform).
I say long term sell because there is better value around in other sectors. Real concerns for the medium term because of big gas discoveries around the world - supply glut.
