    all gold resources are based on extrapolation...any resource for that matter. How do you think they come up with tonnes and grade for a gold resource between several drill holes ? you are extrapolating tonnes and grade into a model between drill holes. Trenching is no different but you would have more confidence in a salt lake model than any fickle gold deposit as the geology / brine is more consistent.
