I note in the Reward quarterly the ponds seem to take up most of the accessible lake surface area and that Lake Disappointment will be relying on that sand unit for a large portion of brine supply. So from what we know so far an ideally placed bore will "successfully" deliver 0.1% of required brine supply for an unknown period of time.

Agrimin consolidated a further 450 sqkm of on-lake area at Lake Mackay last week - that's 75% of Reward's accessible lake surface area. Brine delivery is quickly becoming a non-issue at Lake Mackay.
