MND goes ex-div on Monday, 9/9/2013 which means that you have today and tomorrow 6/9/2013 to acquire MND shares to avail yourselves to the final dividend.
The final dividend for MND is 75 cps, fully franked (payable 20/9/2013). The interim dividend was 62 cps making a total of $1.37/share.
At the current share price of $20.05 (at 10.30am 5/9/2013) the net yield is 6.83% (pa) or gross yield 9.76% (pa).
The yield is very much higher than that quoted above if you only hold the shares till the ex-div date for the next interim dividend around beginning March 2014 (i.e for about 6 months) and then sell immediately after.
This assumes that the next interim dividend is at least 62 cps, fully franked and ex-div at the beginning of March 2014 and payable around middle of March 2014. It also assumes that the share price you will realised, is for at least $20.02. No account is taken of tax.
PLEASE DYOR.
