    Below may answer your question...and IDC has a long long way to go before the get to the depths of Porgera! IDC has 2-4moz not far from the surface!!

    On the high cash costs at Porgera – which were beyond the guidance of $700-750/oz expected from its Australia Pacific region operations – Barrick said they primarily reflected lower underground tonnes mined.
