    FWIW - Personally prefer the prospective capital growth and ultimate size of NMS over time, but that said, couldn't criticise buying MRM at all, even if it was in preference to NMS.

    MRM dipped about 65% (from $2.20 to about 70c) now recovering 100% (from 70c to $1.40) and NMS dipped about 80% (from 1.37 to 25c), (although that 1.37 was a bit "frothy") now recovering about 80% (from 25c to 44.5c), so MRM started higher, lost less and recovered more, faster.

    However, NMS is still a new kid on the block and naturally suffered more and recovers more slowly than a longer established dividend-paying company like MRM.

    I think Thorney swapped out of NMS into MRM in Sept 2008(not sure about that), probably perceiving the reasons above. Acorn Capital invests in micros for high wealth individuals and institutions and likes them both.
