There are various views on absolutely anything. Well, I don't hold AMI - holders of that company will find out down the track whether the acquisition was worth it or not.
In all likelihood both companies will have issues in tweaking the respective plants to optimal levels - which of course takes time. Proceeds from Bakers Hill of course is just a nice Christmas present.
I guess we can brag on our 'crap' management's ability to revive Hillgrove, give the local economy an economic boost and provide a source of income for itself and reward shareholders in time - all for a meagre sum.
Regards being taken over - glad they didn't - even if they would have offered the same as they paid for their acquisition it would have been opportunistic and far too low.
I do see better value here - stick with the known 'crappy' lot - let AMI holders rejoice with theirs.
