Yeah understand no news is bad news in the O&G drilling campaign. BUt no news is also good news in the sense that the 7 inch casing must have been done with no problems. No news also means well is in good condition. As for the GAS indications, how do you analyse GAS reading when drilling with air???? I dont know, usually the mud will bring back the shavings to surface and can be analyzed for Hydrocarbons, how do you bring back the drill debris to surface when drilling with air? Besides there is 200ft of drilling with air, probably take a while to drill making sure safety and keeping well in good condition is first priority.
