Linear was using IRESS software which is to be migrated on to the new platform and software. The RE is controlled by XPL, so Linear itself is not leaving. Independent dealer groups on the Linear platform can make their own decisions, but if they haven't left by now, seems strange to do it just as XPL is emerging with a better software and strengthened management team.

XPL wrote off the Linear (IRESS) software in the 201920 FY. That might be the confusion.

Notwithstanding it is lagging its near peers like Hub24 and Netwealth, it also is not priced as if it can grow. XPL offers some features that aren't available on Hub24, so there remains a latent opportunity to improve on sales once migration is completed, during this calendar year. I guess we will get some update with the 25/8 review of the year just gone.
