I think the big problem we all face is not knowing how much NXR could be worth if it product comes to fruition. We are all looking at near term SP targets at the moment. 14c, 17c, 20c, but what about later on when it's corneal scanner is in millions of mobile units, tablets etc.
Well I've been scouring the web to look for a comparison and here is one to consider. Next biometrics, a Scando company that is at the forefront of fingerprint scanning module technology. Different modality I know, but the similarities are worth considering, especially the numbers.
They have just signed a deal to produce scanners in the order of millions of units per year. Each unit is worth to them approx $30.
Apply those sort of numbers to NXR. Say we sell 5 million units p/a at $30 per unit = $150 mill p/a. EPS would then be approximately 50c per share assuming no dividends and 300 million shares on issue fully diluted. Now peg a conservative PE ratio of 10 on that and wallah!
Now, this is a very simplistic valuation and I'm not saying that the numbers will be the same but it gives some sort of idea as to where the SP of NXR could be post commercialisation. My opinion only of course and PLEASE do your own research.
I think the big problem we all face is not knowing how much NXR...
