Versarien share price has multiplied a further fivefold since then and is now over 100p. On 7 September 2017 the graphene landscape changed when the International Standards Organization published ISO/TS 80004-13:2017 defining what can and cannot be called graphene, ruling out many materials previously marketed as such. Among the very few that do comply is Nanene, produced by Versarien. Since when various global companies have signed collaborative deals, and despite commercial non-disclosure agreements that conceal the names, it appears that they include Dupont-Dow Chemicals, Unilever, and (apparently) Nike. Israel Aerospace Industries have also signed up (they are government owned). China is paying for the construction and equipping of a new 100,000 sq.ft factory in Jinan province, which will open in July, where Versarien will step up production to meet the needs of chinese manufacturers who desperately want to include proper graphene in their goods. The UK team in the Winter Olympics (beginning in S.Korea next week) will be using sleds made by Bromley Sports using Nanene in the carbon fibre shells. Unlike the many companies focussing entirely on graphene, Versarien is also working on a large number of other advanced materials, including boron nitride, germanene, phosphorene, silicene and stanene.
