that announcement is just compelling and it tells me that Melua is right.
they will pull the bid on the 8th Feb. so if the 'beards' havent got you a second offer by then its back to 50c imo.

if i was a second bidder i wouldnt try and compete now anyway. i would wait til this bid flops and then come in with a scrip/cash offer.
if i understand correctly then after zfx withdraw the offer they cant bid again for 6 months????
a new suitor would be free to offer scrip and cash that appears to be slightly more than $1 but is less appealing than all cash.
zfx are keen to get on with their aquisitions so they will drop this one like a hot potato on feb the 8th if not accepted.
