Don't get caught up on prices too much, in every market there is a buyer for every seller, and vice versa. People sell for all different reasons, it might have nothing to do with the stock at all.
The most important thing is to do research on what you are buying into, and then ask yourself is this currently cheap, expensive or at value to what you believe it could be worth?
