Ganfeng (market cap: A$48B) share price is breaking new record again, up 6% today.
GLN's large shareholder, Ganfeng, signs deal with Argentina’s government to develop lithium-ion battery factory.
Ganfeng plans to increase their annual production capacity from current 120,000 tons LCE to 600,000 tons LCE by 2030. That's 480,000 tons LCE per year resource needs to be filled, massive lithium deposits to be developed.
On ASX, Ganfeng holds PLS and GLN.
Despite Thematica reduced their holding but they actually significantly increased exposure on GLN as GLN is the fourth largest holding in their portfolio. Ganfeng is their No.2 largest holding as at 30 June 2021.
