What I don't get is some peoples' preoccupation with the number of shares on issue... it is irrelevant!! The only thing that matters is the market cap of the stock (EV actually but lets simplify things) and the underlying value of the assets. That LKE has 8x the number of SOI as GLN means nothing - the relevant numbers are that LKE has a mkt cap of $500m vs GLN of $250m (roughly) - are LKE's assets and future business prospects twice as attractive as GLN, that's the question....
What I don't get is some peoples' preoccupation with the number...
