BYD sold 509k new energy vehicles (BEVs and PHEVs), likely to reach 600k EVs for 2021.
They have a traget for 2022: 1.5 million new energy vehicle sales, 150% higher.
China is likely to reach 3.3 million new energy vehicle sales (~80% are pure battery EVs) for 2021, forecast to reach 5 - 6 million new energy vehicle sales for 2022.
