Not commenting on the effect of the recent announcement as many have already articulated their pov's well. But for as long as I've had a foot in GLN (only about 1 year), they've always tended to take a breather when others are running, and run when others are moving sideways. So this kind of movement isn't a cause for concern and not necessarily linked to the announcement. Anybody can create a narrative explaining SP movements of 1 day, 1 week, 1 month etc, so definitely not discounting your narrative, but just saying that zooming out might help settle the nerves.
