I don't know how older people than me thinks but, honestly, for me there is no more options than buy an EV (when I buy a car) In the south of Spain we have sun from 6 in the morning to 9 in the night (in summer), you put some panels in your roof and use for free your EV car.. So your house. Batteries for home are the problem, it needs to be improved. But for cars... Take a look to the last Nissan, in city/town it will be undischargable.
