I think AVL management have done a pretty good job at getting significant Government support at local (in particular Local Geraldton), State Govt. and Federal Govt. levels.

There is no reason for govt departments to slow the process ?
If anything it's in their best interests to help facilitate the process especially after handing out a $3.69 Million Federal Govt. Grant for the Electrolyte Plant in Kwinana and having a Federal MP (Patrick Gorman) appearing in a promotional video in support of the company.
Also awarding AVL both Lead Agency Status and Major Project Status for the very reason of streamlining the approvals process (read attached below).

What would the Govt expect AVL to put through this electrolyte plant they are financially backing if they held up the very mine meant to supply it ??
It doesn't even make sense the Govt would be looking very stupid indeed.

Getting approvals to commence mining in WA is not rocket science or something new or out of left field.
Western Australia runs on the back of mining .... we are a mining state first and foremost.
