Good research needs to extend beyond the company to include the overall market for the company product. Just a point, have you noticed that the overall trend in gold price (taking exchange rate movements into account)have been downward for the last 12 months? See link below:

The downward trend is most noticeable in USD & AUD whilst POG gone up in Euros, all are "unstable" priced currencies . Maybe, we need to look at more stable currency for guidance like CHF - which shows a flattish result.
Just some thoughts. Any comments?
