Mass compensation is inappropriate. Many non-aboriginal children were also damaged by removal practises 50 years ago which are now considered inappropriate.
By all means, spend more money on improving the situation of poor or disadvantaged people. Perhaps, spend money on people who can prove that they were egregiously damaged. But to suggest that spewing money at all aborigines is ridiculous. Lots of people have unlucky lives in one way or another. Who do you think will pay for it ?
The people jumping up and down and demanding billions in compensation are mostly parasites on the public teat as it is, and many of them would not know the meaning or work or paying tax.
