I'm not against this at all..

and a contingency fund should be considered ...

I should add that GGG will have to have substantial Insurance Liability Cover (multi millions) like any business of this size .

Contingency Funds for other events

In fact I think this is going to be legislated by many Governments in the Future after Covid... So that Businesses can support themselves in future shutdowns ... This may or will result in Employee contributions as well....
