I'm not such a big fan of IMCOA's numbers.
Here is ALK, ARU's and LYC's output (from 2014, though only 20ktpa from LYC) as a function of the current market. These are my numbers and some of them are conservative i believe.:
The red ones are the ones that NTU is relying on for most of it's income.
The technology was developed in the west, it's not held by the east, the drought is non existent. China may have fancy technology, but it's not related to extraction and purification which is what is important here.
