    I think there is a sovereign risk element that should be factored in to the general market. China has shown its hand. WTO even involved > Given the small overall cost per unit consumption of LREE/HREE/and esp CREE ,most consumers would prefer to get supply from a politically stable source and thus will pay a premium. Moreover the Chinese will not be using REE to make a few million bucks. REE are being used to hogtie electronic opposition and coerce said industry to China. A place they may not necessarily wish to go.
    So LYC/NTU/ALK and possibly others offer reduced sovereign risk and ability to keep industry at home. Will they pay a premium..yep at least until others outside China start producing.
    I suspect if the market allows smaller survivors we have a 2-4 yr window. After than the crystal ball goes all smudgy.
    Maybe they will develop a way to use sheep bladders as core CPU memory.

    It aint like Iron Ore eh??
