It has never been said or insinuated that VRB's will be the sole solution for energy storage.
It's going to be a massive market which is destined to grow exponentially, with different products for different applications and various technologies pushing their agenda.
There is potential for so much money swirling around in this space that there will be no shortage of those vying for a chunk.
No-one is going to have a monopoly, it's just unfeasible.
AVL need to concentrate on what AVL can do in competitive market place and it seems they are off to a good start, actually way ahead of the game if anything.
They're doing one installation you say in LA, here is a map of successful installations of only Gildemeister Cellcubes in Europe.
