You make some good observations about complexity of market. My point is LA is no small city. So what is that complexity that MIGHT make different markets because the South Australian situation appears at surface not too different to the LA issues with back up power supply in peak periods. Li ion based battery products also are like a mantra in the public consciousness if not also Government. Tesla is leading that new civic religion.

All I can suggest to AVL holders is retweet to stake holders and politicians the alternative be known. Because the likes of Tesla will drown out the options.

Note where Gildemeister are on the map AES has spots in the Netherlands and UK and U.S.. So at some point social media will have to compare these options. It hasn't happened so far. That's a possible danger.
