Based on the good Dr's comments , "It looks like the excessively drawn out COH collaboration agreement is close to being signed off. Dealing with this agreement is one thing I do not miss from my Race days. I am confident that once the collaboration is formally underway that we will see a lot of exciting science (and more)."
I COULD infer that It would appear that both sides believe that this agreement is something worth pursuing. Which means that Race believes that it needs CoH for any FTO related trials and likewise CoH needs Race for Zantrene.
I agree with @IndexInvestor it makes sense for us to give some IP and move this slow moving train forward. Better to have a smaller piece of a bigger/massive pie , than wait for ages for our pie to get in the oven.
There exists the possibly that if we do go it alone, CoH could sue to try and keep us tied up in court.
