The scale of the BioWave plates are of comparable size to the CETO buoy-pumps. The principle of operation is somewhat similar in that CETO extracts energy from the longitudinal (vertical) motion of the wave orbits while BioWave extracts from the lateral part of the orbits and then provides a torque. The composite manufacture means it will be light weight, strong, resilient, and non corrosive. Having three buoys in one frame would be efficient from the energy extraction point of view but if impacted by a foreign object in one corner (twisting action) there could be devastation.
