Doing great things! Have been looking forward to a final deployment of the BioPower Systems’ WEC. They haven’t said too much publically but they have been feverishly active. They have even built their own Power Take Off system that sits separately in a pressurised cylinder. See the end of it immediately under the float actuator (“O-drive”).

Have they thought out how to get it into position (a la the Oceanlinx exercise)?

Yes, competition perhaps. We are a long way from knowing that until all these WECs have been rigorously tested in situ for several years. This one is still their prototype.
