hotcopper isnt good for talking about ASX, because there is too much talk about other stocks on the ASX thread.
but in reply to your question, yeah, i think ASX is a good thing, particularly for a long term hold and to collect handy dividends. they are not the sort of stock to fly in either direction, for this reason i have just sold my holding in search of cash.
