One must understand that the chinese are strong in Botswana, they have invested heavily in the country and want this asset for themselves. The problem with this is that if they dont get what they want, there will forever issues with the mine.Think Lynas in Malaysia and who pulls the strings (behind the scenes ) in Malaysia.
