Firstly, we are all used to unlocking our phones, I do it at least 10 times per day and it has become instinctual i.e. I don't even think about it so I'd imagine it's not a hassle for most.

Secondly, it takes a couple of seconds to open ONE app, and that app should have the XPed logo on it IMHO. ;-)

Thirdly, who needs and wants another remote/controller in the home floating around when you can simply use your phone. Less is more I say.

Although one can't be certain what the industry standard for smart home control will end up being (but let's hope it uses Xped's ADRC tech), I wouldn't hesitate in placing a large wager that Oomi won't be it.
