From what we are told Candi operates through the cloud ,Xped can operate in or out of the cloud so you can still operate your device if the internet is down with Xped , willing to be corrected here but we are constantly told this is a problem with Iot connected devices, different aspects of safety and convenience come to mind. Actually this is not Xpeds main competitor , its the big tech companies Samsung and Googles Nest , which is bleeding the company of valuable free cash trying to rectify its problems.
Still good to post what the competition are doing its a very crowded space the IOT market, the deciding factor is going to be whats everybodys choice.
It could be just a matter of being slightly better than the competition
